I received the notification that my blog was nominated for the Sunshine Blogger Award a couple of weeks ago. Since December was a busy holiday season, I decided to leave it alone, and I just now decide to do something about it.

To those who are not familiar with it, Sunshine Blogger Awards is given to bloggers who are “creative, positive, and inspiring” by other bloggers. It is an online reward, and when one receives this, it means “the blog inspires their readers and gives a bit of happiness too” — just like the rays of sunshine brightening the cloudy sky. Once you have been nominated you are given a set of questions to answer and then you get to “pass it on” to other bloggers that you admire. Continue Reading →

The post card is a bit different. What can I say? I am in a tropical country after all and we tend to do things just a bit differently. 🙂

I hope you are having a wonderful time with friends and family. Continue Reading →

2017 is coming to an end. Where did the year go?

You’re probably busy with wrapping up gifts to put under the tree, planning a feast for the family, going to holiday parties and enjoying the jolliness of the season.

Amidst the hustle and bustle of the season, it’s also time to do your reflection of the year past and plan for the year ahead.
